Last blog

Today it's the last blog.At the beginning of this semester, I didn't like this idea at all ,but today I'm happy I did it (blog).It's really helpful.Today I'm happy not only because I pass the test ,but I have good times with you guys.I have fun.I had excellent,good,encouraging,helpful and lovely teachers.I learn a lot with them.Thank's so much guys.You help me to make it.My classmates are special.We have two days left and that will be hard to seperate from you guys.I hope we will keep in touch during this vacation, and for a long time.Good luck to each of us who is going to take the exam tomorrow and see you guy .Take care.I love you Elaine.I love you guys.

One more week.It's great to hear that,but it 's hard to think we going to separate for almost four months.This semester is one of the best semester I had.My classmates are very good people and they are friendlier.I have good times with them.My teachers are amizing.My English is improved.I never thought that today I will be able to write or speak the way I do.Since I am in the LINCC program I learn a lot.My teachers help me a lot.they are really encouraging . The way they teach is very helpful.thank's to all of you who helps me to improve my English.

good time

Definitively,the end of this week was very exciting and interesting for me because I have good time with my classmates.On Thursday,after class Anna went with me at "Motor Vehicule", and I took my learner permit test . I pass it.It was amazing.After that, we went to Roosevelt Field mall, and we spent time together.Today,it's the last lab.I'm happy for that.After the lab, I went to "AppleBee's" with Silvia ,Dayanna,Yenny,Veronica,and two other girls from Marissa class.We ate and had fun together.When we finished, Silvia drove me home.I really happy.I don't know if next week will be interesting because it will be the last for this semester.

This semester is almost ending.I'm getting ready for the exams.During those moment,I miss my father more than usually because when I had to take an exam he always did some extra work with me which always helped me.Now he isn't here but I have to do my best to make him proud of me. Also I have to make my dear mother happy.After the axam we will be in vacation and we are going to spend long time without seeing each other.I don't know how I'm going to manage that ,but I will miss you a lot guys.I feel good when I'm with you.Anyway we can't do anything because we have to take a brake.

Bad feelings

I hate this weather because it's very wet outside.When the weather is like this,I feel sad.Everything seems asleep.It's really depressing.When I was in my country,If it 's rainning all day long, I never went to school.If it's only for some hours, it's fine.My mother always asked me if I have made with salt, so when I go out when it's rainning if I'm going to dissolve.Here everything is totally different.Even it's snowing,rainning you have to do what you suppose to do.Anyway I'm not in my country anymore ,I have to face the reality.

I like marriage

Today I saw a movie named "the Greek big fat wedding".I like it .The Greek weeding is similar to Haitian wedding.People are crazy about that.In Haiti people don't have enough room to put family's members because they are so many.I think in Haiti is the only day the people who will get married have a chance to know all of their familly's members.It's the sacrement I like the must.People are pretty,the celebration is interesting and you find all king of good food in the reception.I like to go to the weddings. ( c'est bien dommage) I will not be at my sister's and brother's wedding.

Dangerous virus

In many parts of the world,people have a contagious disease which is a "flu".This disease is based on a virus which comes from pigs and transmits to people.when people have this thing, they can't survive.In Mexico,they already have more than 100 death .People have this disease in some other places as Canada ,New york and some others.The government of those countries ask people to put masks every where to protect themselves.In Haiti the government try his best to avoid that because, if Haitian people have this disease, that will be a desaster.It's really dansgerous ,and I really worry about it.

I had good time during those past 6 days.I always happy when I am with my family's members.My uncle and my aunt were there ,and the weather is wonderful.I learned how to play "skipbo".It's a card game.I played it every night with them, and I like it very much.It's a past time, and it's very interesting.They go back to Canada today,but they will be back in the beginning of May because one of my cousins will get married in May.

Yesterday I was in the back yard of the house where I live, and I saw a "racoon".It was for the first time I saw one.It was so beautiful,but my uncle said to me that they are very dangerous.I can't understand how a so cute animal can be dangerous.Anyway I really like to see them. I don't have nothing yet to do for this weekend ,but I hope I will go out.I know that I will have a good time because my uncle and my aunt are there.Buy everyone,enjoy your beautiful weekend.

I am sorry

I did my speech this Tuesday.A lot of my classmates told me they were desappointed because they were expecting more from me.I realized I was out of topic and I missed a lot of things.I'm really sorry guys.Thank's for telling me because that will help me.The next time I will do a speech ,I will try to do better.
This afternoon will be a busy one for me.Thank's to God I don't have homework.I was so lazy this week ,I didn't finish the house cleaning.I have to finish it today, and I will try. Buy Guys ,see you tomorrow.

I was really tired this weekend.I was the only one who did the spring cleaning and also prepared to welcome my uncle and my aunt from Canada.They will come on thursday.I was the only one because my cousin went to work,my uncle was cleaning the back yard ,and my aunt did'nt feel well after finish cooking.I didn't finish my work because I wanted to enjoy the beautiful weather, so I took my bicycle and went out.I hope I will finish this afternoon.

Today,I went to a "multicultural fair "at Nassau Community College.There was a room which had many exposition of traditional food,culture and costums of many countries.I was happy to see the project of many of my classmates.That was great.After,I went to another room upstairs in the CCB building to get free food.I saw different kind of food from different countries.I eat some of them.I was really desapointed because I didn't see even one Haitian food.

Today I have a wonderful day.I saw a movie named "big".I like it because it was interesting and funny.Last night I talked to my brother on the phone, and he told me something which was very surprising for me.The first one was,"my sister will get married in December".I said ok and I let him understand that I am happy for that,but I am NOT.After that I asked him for the second one .He answered,"for me it will be this july".I didn't understand.He repeated " he will get married this july".I was very surprise because I never thought that will be so early, and I don't like the girl for my brother.

Today is the second day of class, after a long vacation.yesterday I felt that I wasn't "ok" in the classroom.It seemed like I was disconnected with everything.I didn't know if it was because of the vacation,but today I feel much better.I understood much better the things we did .I will try to be like I was before even better if it's possible.I also saw the beginning of a movie which seemed interesting, and I hope I will see the end tomorrow.

Hi everyone

How is everyone? for me everything is ok.Finally my uncle is here. I am happy because I hear about my parents, and I received some gifts from them.Yesterday, when my uncle arrived we ate together, and talked about the situation in Haiti.We slept very late.Today, my aunt and I wake up early to prepare the food.I don't know what we are going to do tomorrow ,but on Saturday we are going to the casino at Mohegan .On Sunday we will have a big dinner.On Monday I have to go back to school and get ready to work.That all I have to do.I hope everyone have a good vacation and enjoy it.

Yesterday night I arrived at home at 11:25 .When I came back I was so excited and happy after having a good time I hurt myself.I was in the step of my house and I felt down.I really hurt my back.Last night it was difficult for me to slept because of that.Anyway today I have to wake up because we have to clean the house and go shopping to welcome my uncle.I hope I will be able to do everything I suppose to do without difficulty.Ok,I have to go.Have a good day everyone.

Hi everyone

Hi everyone, how is your vacation?For me everything is ok.I enjoyed those past two days.I really happy, and I hope you are too. I have plenty of things to do in the next days of this week.Actually my family and I are at Delaware.We are there since Saturday and we will be back to N.Y tonight.Yesterday night I went to a party at "Chesapeake".It was good, but I was a little bit cold because it was next to the water.When we be back to N.Y we will begin to prepare to welcome my uncle from Haiti.

Vacation

I have one week of vacation ,and that will begin tomorrow.On Wednesday,my uncle will come from Haiti to celebrate the Easter with us.That will be a busy and tired week for me.Also my aunt planned to go out but I don't really know when and where.I already feel I will have a great and happy Easter.I always had a big problem every Easter, and that is still the same.The problem is "I am allergic with chocolate".When people ate it,sometimes I took a little part.I will never do it again because exacly one year ago I was hospitalize because of that.I love chocolate but it doesn't like me.If you can eat chocolate enjoy it,and eat some for me too.HAPPY EASTER.

Today is finally the last day of March ,and it brings us a good weather.I'm happy about that.I really don't have nothing special to write about in my blog.Nothing is in my mind now.The only thing I can say is about my aunt,and I already talked about her .Today when I came back home after school ,I heard that she is in a very bad condition . Only God knows.As Elaine and Yeny said , I will pray for her, and I hope that she will get better very soon.

We are almost at the end of this month,only one more day left. During those pass two days, I wasn't feel so good ,also I received a bad news.It was about one of my aunt. She is hospitalize since Thursday, and actually she is in intensive care.She is in Florida ,that mean I cannot go to see her because of my school.I hope she will be better in a few days .In general, this month was good for me because I didn't have any problem.I spoke to my parents and my friends very often.I had fun,and I have good time at school.I hope the next month will be great and will bring an excellent temperature.

Lent

In catholic religion we are actually in the lent time,which mean time of prayer,penitence,forgiveness and sharing.All of that is to prepare the Easter.That begin with the ash Wenesday.On that day all christians catholic should fast,except the people who already have 65 years or more. During this period of time we have two days to fasting and it is obligatory.Those days are "ash Wenesday and goog Friday".After that you don't have to do it,but some people do it for all this period which is equivalent to 40 days.Some do it every Friday,and other every Friday and Wenesday of this time.It is about faith.

March 25

Today is March 25 ,and it is a big and important day in Catholic churches.We celebrate the annonciation of the Virgin Marie,the mother of God.This celebration reminds us when the angel Gabriel came to Marie and annonce her that she will be the mother of God, and Marie answered that she is the servant of God.That answer which mean "yes" has a lot of signification for Catholic christian.Also according to our faith that help us to behave in a way to accept everything that God gives us to do, even it's difficult.Today they celabrate mass in many catholic churches in memory of that.

today

Today I have a new teacher named Elaine Soffer.I had Marissa before who was a wonderful one.For the first day of the session with a new teacher and after doing some activities I feel that,everything will be great with Elaine and I like her.The activities we did was interesting and we all ready have some homeworks to do ,which is great and helpful.I hope at the end of this semester I will do a lot of progress and I beleive that we will have good time with our Teacher.

never give up

Life is not easy.If you want to be successful in every thing you do ,you should be patient and determinate.Don't look at the difficulty,always fint for the thing you want.Never give up is a term that is appopriate to every day life because nothing is easy.If you don't have the determination and the courage to say "fall for the first time is nothing, the importance is to get up"you will never be able to be successful.Never give up.

Friday 13

Today is Friday 13.This morning before I left my aunt house, my cousin said to me ,"cousin today you have to becareful in anything you do ". I asked him why ?I'm always careful. He replied ," that today is Friday 13 and that mean bad luck for everybody".I would like to know the origine of that, and why is bad luck.I really don't have no idea.If it's true I hope nothing bad will happen to anyone.In my country we don't have any date which is consider good or bad.Have a good day and be careful in what you are doing.

Love

Love is characteristic of your behevior.Love between parents and children is full of affection ,comprehension,and adoration.Love between boyfriend and girlfriend is must of the time crazy.People feel like going up, live under the sky full of stars. Every thing seems like easy, good, and the sun is always at the horizon. Love for the nature is passionate.The way you love is must of the time appropriate with the kind of thing you attribute it with.The importance is to having it in your heart and your life.

The first session is almost over.I used to have great time with all of my classmates also with my teacher, who is a good and interesting one.I learn a lot with her ,and my parents are so proud of that.Since I am in the LINCC program at Nassau Community College ,I always meet good people ,and the teachers have some exeptional skills.They really help foreign students in the way they teach.Isn't over yet ,but I thankful Marrissa for her good help.I'am happy to be her student.I will miss you Marrisa .Thanks again.

Great temperature,take advantage

Today the weather is so good and that make me really happy.It reminds me my dear country.When the temperature is like that,I feel very confortable.I hope everyone enjoy this beautiful day.Every day is difference,every moment is precious.Don't waste your time and never put for tomorrow the thing you can do today .Take advantage of everything the day offers to you because tomorrow will coming with is own.Take advantage and enjoy because the wasting time will never back again.

Responsibility

Are you a responsible person?I think responsibility is one of the basic part in a life style.For me, people should learn to be responsible every day because that is part of every step in people life.Be responsible isn't only to show that you can do something but is to do it constantly good.Do you believe you can do something like that without having your life organise or to take the responsibility to make your life better than before?Be responsible is to have a better life style,be a trusting person and be a model.I think every one should do some effort to be responsible.

Sunday,March 1,I was surprise to see snow again after two weeks of very good temperature.Yesterday,when I saw how bad was the weather its was hard for me to believe ,because I was getting ready to put my coat some place for the next winter.I like the snow but I really hate the cold.In the afternoon I went outside to clean the front of the house with my cousin.It was a great experience.I think and hope that is the last snow for the season ,because I tired to wear a lot of clothes including coat.

Life

Life is a word which has different , many and optional meaning.For me life is a combinaison of good and bad things.Live is an experience which is very risky,because everything you do is fallowed by a result or consequences.something the consequences are positive or negative ,anyway nothing is easy to achieve."Life is a teacher which kill her student after her course".Every body have to do what you suppose to do and fallow the life's rules.

carnaval

In many countries in the world we just have a moment of fun,relaxation,happiness and interesting which is carnaval.It began on Sunday 22 and end on Tuesday 24 which named "MARDI GRAS" .Mardi gras is a French term."Mardi "mean Tuesday and" gras" mean the big dinner and party people make before begin the lent time for the preparation of Easter.Haitian people also used to have this time .Its a moment I miss because I always enjoy it.We have music,parade and competition all night during those three days.Ireally like this moment.

Vacation

I just have one week of vacation.During this time I used to have great moment and a lot of rest.I was ready to begin a new week of school,but today the teacher didn't come,that mean I have one more day of vacation.During the past two weeks the weather was so confortable,I was so happy ,even think the winter time was end off ,but that was false because this morning when I used to go to school it was so call.I hope the winter time will end early.I think tomorrow will be a good day and Marissa will be able to come.

Valentine Day

Valentine's Day is every year celebrated on February 14.Is a special day to think about love.Love is one of the most important thing in the world.It's a feeling,a good thing ,an emotion,a gift,a romance,an happiness.Valentine's Day isn't only for girlfriends and boyfriends,but also for family's members, for friends,or everyone who felt in love for someone else.February 14 is a commemorative day.In my country Valentine's Day color is pink.Its a very big celebration especially for teenagers.Everyone gives and receives chocolate.I really like the celebration one this day.HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY TO EVERYONE.

Global warming

Global warming is one of the major problem in the world.The process of the evolution is the consequence of that.The entire planet is also affect by the pollution.The pollution cause the changement of temperature,more deseases,ect.Now,all over the world the environment is polluted with toxic waste.The air is heavily.The pollution is also the consequence of the extinction of the animals, whish are living in the pole north because the planet is warm up.People can reduce those problems if they stop chop down the trees,recycle garbage[plastic bottles],try to use less chemical,stop deforestation,protect all of the natural resources.

A good time

Today the teacher didn't coming ,that mean we didn't have class.After we learned about that ,Feng and I decided to go to Flushing at Annie's house.We spent one hour to go there,because of the traffic.When we arrived,we was looking for a place to eat breakfast. Feng,Annie,and I finally went to a restaurant named "New Pacific".There I ate a lot of special Chinese food,and I didn't heaven know their name.The food was completely different from the king I used to eat before.The thing I really happy is,I learned how to eat with "Baguettes".After we finished ,we went to do window shopping in some magasins,brought Annie home ,and came back to Long Island.I used to have a good time.I hope Marissa will feel better, and will be able to come tomorrow.

My native languages

In my country,we have two different languages which are French and Creole.We have those two languages because before Haiti had his dependency,it was occupied by French,Spanish,English,Indian,and German people.We speak French,Creole as a dialecte,Spanish because in the past for many years Spanish music was very common,Greek,and Latin because all of them are "latino languages".Those languages aren't so different.For exemple,in English we say "education",in French "education",in Creole "edication",in Spanish "educacion".Haiti was a colonial country.

My country

Haiti is my country.Write about my country it's to use a convenient expression of the Haitian Revolution for set all evenements produce in the French Colony since 1789,and had as final result the proclamation of Independence of Haiti on January 1,1804.In Haiti, we have only one season which is summer,because it's a tropical country.During the year the weather is warm ,and the air seems wet,also the sun shines for most of the year.My country was very beautiful.I love my dear country,and hope to see it one day againt.

An experience

This year is my second semester at NCC in the LINCC program.I so happy to have the opportunities to get in.I always have a chance to meet good people in my classes,and I learn a lot with my teachers.I really satisfied because my english is improved.When I first came here,in the United States,I always said"I think never in my life I will be able to speak,write,or understand English".I was feeling very bad when people was talking next to me.Today I thankful God and my teachers for their help.I think this program is very helpful for the foreign people.

the place I grew up

When I was in my country,I used to live in a place named FERMATHE.It's a rural area,and I really like it.I have many reasons for this.First,I can enjoy beautiful nature.for example,at night I can admire a blue sky full of stars.It's a quiet place .Also,in my neighborhood generally the people are nice.Pleople have more or less a safe life because we don't have too much theft.In addition,in the country people don't find too much pollution.Finally,the life is inexpensive compared to the city.

A souvenir

I remember one year ago,when I had to come here how hardest that was for me.The day before I came,my father made a big party for me,and all my friends were there .I used to have a really great time.My sadnest began when I saw how I going to miss my friend ,my family,and my habbit after this moment of happyness.It was hard for me to believe,but thank's to God,since I'm here I always hear about them,also I'm meet good person,and I really happy for that.
